Naval Artificers’ Association (HP) was happy to extend helping hand to fight Corona among Home Isolation patients in the remote villages. HAA has availed this opportunity to donate 100 Pulse Oximeters and 200 Digi-Thermometers to Deputy Commissioner, Kangra, (HP) for onward distribution (through ASHA workers) to those Corona patients in remote villages, who are under home isolation.
Besides urban areas reporting a large number of cases, a gradual ingress is now being seen in peri-urban, rural and tribal areas as well.
HIM Artificers’ Association (Navy) along with A/129 class has started a volunteer contribution for our martyr brother Artificer Gaurav Dutt ERA-III from A/129 class, who met an accident on board (INS Sumedha) and unfortunate demise of Gaurav Dutt on the spot. Taking positively the girl (Gaurav’s wife) is just 25 years old and just married on 16 Feb 2020, she might move on after a year or so as she is having her full life ahead. All the benefits from service will accrue to her as compensation and nothing much left for his parents towards support in old age. We started this contribution from A/129 class to start with and gradually moved to accepting contributions from senior and junior Partners. The amount thus collected as on 30 Jun 2020 is 13 Lakhs.
Subsequently, the amount of Rs 13,00,000.00 has been transferred to Mrs Nirmla, mother of Gaurav Dutt vide Cheque transfer (NEFT UTR SBIN520182363756682267) dated 30 Jun 2020. A consolidated final and the overall list of contributing Partners is appended below for the kind perusal of the Artificers community.
