6th HIM Artificers’ Meet (Family) – 01 Nov 2019 at Moniker Resort Manali
The 6th HIM Artificers’ Meet was held on 01-03 Nov 2019 at Moniker Resort Manali. It was a decent gathering of 45 families and few stags. The Meet was graced by the esteemed presence of senior most Ptnr Cdr MN Sangal, Veer Chakra EAP/35.
First day was for local tours individually, however, most of time on first day was consumed in converging towards Manali due to Express-Way construction work and associated jams. The second day to start with trekking and followed by local trips to Kothi and Solang valley. Lunch was arranged at Solang valley. After lunch a short trip to Hidimba Devi temple and back at Resort for tea followed by first Annual General Body Meeting, with 5 Non-HIM partners (A/88 Class) as neutral observers. The main attraction of 6th Meet was presence of A/88 Class in maximum strength (12) consisting of 7 HIM partner families and 5 Non-HIM partner families from Delhi, Faridabad and Lucknow.
